This week has been interesting. First, I have been working on my Spanish. This spring, I will be taking classes in Spanish, French, and Latin as well as one non-language course. For Christmas, I received a couple of language books. One is on the basics of Brazilian Portuguese and the other is on language learning in general.
I also decided to branch out from just Romance languages and started pursuing Bulgarian. My reasoning? I have wanted to learn a Slavic language for a while now, and I have read that it is easy in comparison with other Slavic languages. It has some shared vocabulary with Romanian as the two countries border each other. It also does not have multiple cases like Russian. All in all, it seemed like a good choice. I want to learn mostly Romance languages, but he Cyrillic alphabet and Slavic languages interest me as well. I have already begun to learn a lot in the past few days, and I think having a Slavic language with my Romance languages might keep me from getting the languages I am learning mixed up. Time will tell if my theory is correct!
Thanks for reading! Gracias por leer!
And, in Bulgarian:
Благодаря за четене!
