First, I would like to say Happy New Year! It is 2015! The year that I stop being a teenager. They year where I start at a four year college. The year where I will experience a lot of changes. This past week has been kind of dull. On Saturday, my dad’s family had their Christmas gathering. We always do it early or late because my dad’s siblings’ spouses have family out of town, and that is where they go on Christmas or Thanksgiving. It was interesting. I am not very close with my extended family, so it is always awkward seeing them. On Sunday, I hung out with one of my friends. I hadn’t seen her since Thanksgiving break, so it was nice to catch up without the stress of school. On New Year’s Eve, I hung out at home with my sister and our neighbor. We are not big party animals, but we had fun. Other than that, not much has occurred. I did make some resolutions, or things I want to change.

I heard the sas news about the passing of transgender teen, Leelah Alcorn. I have many thoughts on the matter, and so I am considering doing a rant post about those issues. That will be up within the next week or so, if I choose to do it.
Anyway, thanks for reading!
