My Progress (3/22/15)

March 23, 2015 · In: College

So, it has been a while since I have posted about my language learning progress, and I wanted to update you all on that. I have been improving, mostly in Spanish and French, but it has been a good amount of progress. First up, Spanish.
SPANISH
According to LingQ, the program I use to learn languages and track what I am doing, I currently know about 5200 words, give or take. This puts me as an Intermediate Level 1. Over the past week, I have increased my known word count by 253, my LingQs (words to learn) has gone up by 125, and I have learned 4 LingQs. Granted, this is only for the website, and I have encountered vocabulary from classwork which I have not integrated into the program. I have also read quite a lot and listened not so much.
FRENCH
French is the other language that I am learning at this moment, and I have made some progress. According to LingQ, I know around 860 words. It is not as much as my Spanish, but I did just start French a couple of months ago. Over the past week, I was not active on LingQ for French. I did have French class this past week, and so I do think that I have improved, but I did not track those improvements. These statistics, as with Spanish, are probably not the most accurate, since I do take French in school, and I work with the language a bit outside of the program.

Hopefully, I will keep improving each week, especially with Spanish. I would like to spend some time this week possibly studying some Italian or Portuguese, and if I do, those languages would be included in next weeks progress post.
