Each part of the bundle offers something different that can help you make your practice more productive. The eBook covers my four-step process to learning new pieces efficiently.

The planner lets you put that process into action to achieve your practice goals. And the practice guide helps you determine how long you should practice each day.

You can use the Time Management for Busy Musicians guide to learn how to manage your time in and out of the practice room. Finally, the 30 for 30 Practice Challenge will teach you to practice more efficiently.

While you can start with one or two of these downloads, buying the bundle will save you money, and you can use all of them from the start.

Will this work for beginners?

Absolute beginners don’t need the bundle. But as you get more serious about music, it can help you create a system for yourself, especially if you don’t have a private teacher.

Intermediate and advanced players can use this bundle as well.

Can I use this with my students?

This bundle is perfect for teachers! You can use it to help your students learn pieces and track their practice.

However, please direct your students to this page if they want to purchase a copy of the bundle for themselves.

Isn’t this a little expensive for downloads?

The price comes from the combined value of each digital download. It also comes from the experience I have managing my time as a busy musician with lots of music to practice as well as other responsibilities.

Are you a professional musician? Do you find you don’t have as much time to practice as you wish you had?

Between scheduling lessons and gigs, giving lessons, invoicing and hunting down payment, and more, practicing can easily fall to the wayside. However, it’s essential to improving your playing.

You don’t have to spend hours a day practicing. But if you don’t keep up with it, it can be hard to get back into playing.

The last thing you want as a musician is to show up to a gig, prepare a recording, or teach a lesson without feeling prepared. After all, your job is to be proficient on your instrument.

Still, playing alone won’t pay the bills. At least not for most of us.

I’ve had many different practice schedules over the years. And fortunately, all of them revolve around one thing. Goals.

Ready to Get Started?

Let’s go!

What would it feel like to:

  • Feel prepared for every gig or lesson you have?

  • Keep track of all of what you work on so that you know what to practice next?
  • Enjoy practicing and be productive at the same time?

The Busy Musician’s Practice Guide can help!

I know what it’s like to:

  • Practice the same things every day.
  • Not feel like I’m making the progress I should.
  • Show up to a gig hoping I don’t make the same mistake I did at home.
  • Feel stressed about having to teach and not feeling ready.
  • Look forward to practicing, even after a stressful day.
  • Work on repertoire I love and can’t wait to perform.

Now it’s your turn.

You don’t need hours a day to practice. But you do need a plan and a guide that will help you make your practice time productive.

You can make improvements even as a busy musician with lots of other responsibilities.

When you’re a busy musician, you have to juggle a lot. You know that practicing isn’t first priority, but it’s still a priority. You want to stop putting it off in fear of wasting time.

FAQs

Do you still have questions? Keep on reading for the answers.

Can’t I create my own practice tracker?

You can create your own tracker. But it won’t include all of the goodies and extras that you’ll find in this workbook and guide.

As a busy musician, I’ve found the strategies that help me make vast improvements in my playing and in less time.

I’m an amateur musician. Is this right for me?

While the workbook is geared toward professionals, advanced amateur players can use it, too! After all, you have a day job, so you probably have even less time to practice than a professional musician.

I’m a beginner. Will this work for me?

The guide offers suggestions primarily for advanced players. However, you can still use the tracking pages. Work with your teacher to determine what is best for you to practice for each session length.

Do you have a sample?

I do not have a sample as of now. If you’d like to see how I format practice trackers and guides, please view The Busy Musician’s Planner for an idea of what to expect.

Do you need to use this with a practice planner?

I recommend combining this practice guide with whatever works for you. If you need a practice planner, please check out The Busy Musician’s Planner. It is an excellent companion product.

I still have questions. Where can I get answers?

Send me an email or a message on Instagram. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

The Busy Musician’s Planner

Do you struggle to manage your time? Are you always stuck “catching up” over the weekend?

You’re a busy musician. You have classes or a full-time job. And you have household chores to complete and errands to run.

You get home late from your activities and feel too tired to pick up your instrument. So you go another day without practicing.

Or maybe you do have time to practice, but you don’t get anything done.

It would be okay if you had this happen occasionally. But if it happens every week, you know something needs to change. NOW.

I’ve been there. I went to school full-time and then worked a day job at a bank. But throughout it all, I was able to maintain a regular, successful practice schedule.

Ready to get started?

Let’s go!

What would it feel like to:

  • Show up prepared for your next lesson or rehearsal?
  • Perform your best in-person or on a recording?
  • Learn new, more challenging pieces?
  • Not dread the thought of picking up your instrument?
  • Maintain consistent growth throughout your practicing?
  • Minimize or even get rid of your performance anxiety?
  • Feel good about playing, even if it’s just for yourself?
  • Take back your time and devote more focus to your love of music?

It’s all possible with The Busy Musician’s Planner!

I know what it’s like to:

  • Wish I had more time to play the instrument I love.
  • Struggle with keeping my focus on the music.
  • Constantly check the clock only to find two minutes have passed.
  • And I also know what it’s like to:
  • Play music that I love but also challenges me.
  • Look forward to practicing, even on busier days.
  • Successfully balance practicing with a full-time life.
  • Know exactly what I need to work on so that I don’t waste time.
  • Be confident on stage and in the practice room.

Now it’s your turn.

You don’t have to struggle to learn new music or feel ashamed of your preparation (or lack thereof) for a lesson.

You don’t have to wonder if you’re practicing the right things.

And you don’t have to waste time you could be spending getting stuff done.

As a busy musician, you know practicing is important. But you know you can’t spend hours in the practice room. You want the key to balance your practice with building your career and enjoying your personal life.

You want freedom in your musical life. And you can have it.

The Busy Musician’s Planner includes:

  • A PDF consisting of goal planners and practice trackers
  • Suggestions for how to use the planner to help YOU
  • Flexibility: use the file on your mobile device or print it out!
  • The ability to copy or skip pages as needed

Total Investment: $27

That’s it.
